BBC saying we will look to get Root past his century and declare. Not sure what the benefit is to declaring with 8 and a half sessions of cricket left. I'd keep them in the field, our bowlers with their feet up, and turn the screw until tea. 7 sessions should be more than enough to bowl them out.

Hadn’t realised how good Root’s century rate was. If he goes on to play 200 games like Tendulkar did, and continues to score centuries at the same rate, he’ll only be 3 behind him. And if anything Root has been getting better at scoring them with age.
He's going to finish off having had a remarkable career no matter what happens. Would like to see him having a big series in Australia before he goes.
