Great catch that, and on his left hand side.

Bowled canny generally this morning for nowt, so deserved that. Bit short at times maybe.

Australia have every right to play this way. A draw will win them the series. It’s up to us to be good enough to take 20 wickets.

All down to last week I'd say. The pressure would have been intolerable for them if we hadn't been stymied by the weather.

They can just see this out now, and it's a no lose for them.

They've retained the urn anyway, so there's no need for any ****housery, as you say, Drum.

    It's purely ungentlemanly . . . . in fact it's just not cricket

It’s exactly how cricket is played. Never been an issue with teams batting for draws. Happens all the time.

Absolutely. Batting a 5 day test for a draw on day 2 is absolutely awful though.

Jimmy deserves that. Bowled so many which went past the edge this morning. Little bit of movement off the seam and marsh goes

Aye. Really quick. Hard to criticise but the throw bounced twice and that gave Smith time to get back.

Absolutely pivotal call. Very lucky to be given not out. Would have been very unlucky to be given out.

He was the one. I'd expect a decent lead from then now. Cummins can bat and once you're in in on this pitch the new ball will fly around.

England openly claim to want to save Test cricket. That is their aim. Then you get Australia batting at a rate of 2.6 after 90 overs ffs.

Yep. Winning is all that matters to them. And drawing this test means they win the series instead of just retaining the ashes. Sad really. It’s the way test cricket has been but it’s poor to watch
