Both teams played pretty crap, we have played, more so.
Well done to England for not rolling over this time round. Good to see some fire.
The Ashes / cricket, needs good close games.

All the years of watching the Boxing Day test, l don’t recall such pitch issue.
For a team to go into bat for the second innings on the very first day, at Melbourne, was unheard of. Crazy result.
 
So we finally got there... <cheers> I watched the first four overs of our innings and how Starc didn't get Duckett was unbelievable, silly wafts and balls going through him and I thought the worst when I turned off but both openers made a contribution and we got there in the end. A great effort from our seamers who all contributed but it may be the last fit bowlers standing for the final test...

At last a win & poss should be 2-2, bowling them out cheaply again without Atkinson is a feat, well done lads

The curator said that he wanted the pitch to be good for batting on days three and four! There was talk on TMS of playing a one-day game on it tomorrow to save some money in refunds.

Still, a good win which probably keeps McCullum in his job.
