I can apperciate that.
I feel the same way about the SCG.
Watch Lillee & Thompson at their peak there in about 75.
Had a few school carnival there around the same time.
All the architecture, the clock on the grandstand roof, the old score board , the history etc .......... has a special place in time.
With all due respect, the only thing l dislike about Lords, is the ugly modern media tower.
The older i'm getting, the more l like the antique looking period buildings.
This is as disgraceful for South Africa as the first game in the series was for England. Shocking stuff.
