What a series, you have to hand it to India they looked done for in the 4th Test but batted it out for the draw and this Test ebbed and flowed both ways. You have to question the scheduling which clearly has contributed to the fitness problems of certain players on both sides. It seems The Hundred takes precedent over everything else for the ECB which is to the game's detriment...
 
I think a series draw was fair, two very well matched teams.

More importantly a brilliant series involving two teams who respected the opposition and their own wickets.

However much I've enjoyed Bazball, this series is how I want to see cricket played.

Bump....

A month after the Test series against India finished and a wasted month of that fatuous franchise cricket, we're back to something approaching normal with ODI's against South Africa.... England scratching around on 107/4 from 18 overs.....
