Just remembered the test was today. I turn the telly on only to see Duckett get out on the first ball I saw.

Nice day for it.....:emoticon-0157-sun:

We have one of those awful days you get on the coast with low cloud and constant drizzle..... good job I'm working today :azn:

We have a word for that on the west coast of Scotland...dreich

Say it with a scottish accent and you'll get how it encompassed everything about the day you're having over there

Just turned the test on and the first ball I see is Bashir getting Louis out, caught by Brook for 21.

On a batting wicket, our attack looked pretty toothless. I understand that Jimmy only played the 1st Test cos they wanted to form an attack that would be going to the Ashes, so why is Woakes still playing ? Left out of the tour to India last year, and with an appalling overseas record, surely he won't be in the squad ? All very strange

Test looking very interesting.

Reading something which might partly explain why the West Indian support, which used to be fantastic and added loads to the atmosphere, seems so muted. I thought it might be a generational thing, which could be the case, but forgot about the incredible cost of tickets for Test cricket now and the ban on taking in musical instruments etc.

Location as well for this one I imagine. More interested in the golf today. Very small bet on Rose who has just badly missed the green on the first.

£30 for the T20 the other night which I thought was fairly reasonable and they had a good crowd in. Probably double the revenue on food and drink.
