Hope so, we need a top class spinner. He’s still only 18 isn’t he? Looks a bit porky today. Hope he gets to bowl a lot in red ball cricket, that’s what spinners need to develop the full range of deliveries.

Yeah he’s still young and learning his trade….I reckon he’ll only get better and is a superb prospect.

Stokes coming out of 1 day International retirement to take part in the World Cup ! Massive lift for our chances of retaining the trophy. Even if he can't bowl, the amount of times he's got us over the line with the bat, and just his aura will give give us a huge boost.
Yeah I know, but he might be prioritising the World Cup over that tour and hand the reigns over to someone else just for that tour. Or he might have the op after that tour or decide to just keep having injections for the time being. We'll have to wait and see, just good news he's reversed his World Cup decision !
Apparently, he may wait till the Spring for the operation.
Harry Brook, scandalously omitted from England's World Cup, scored 105 off 42 in the Hundred today. Someone had to miss out to make room for Stokes, but it's plain daft that Roy and Malan have been preferred to Brook.
It's unbelievable. Was there last night. Amazing to witness such a one day masterclass!
Very strange decision indeed. Roy will open with Bairstow, and even though out of form I can u derdtand that opening partnership remaining in place. Malan though, although doing very well in 20/20's is a strange call over Brook. I presume they want Malan at 3 then and Root at 4 ? Stokes at 5 and Buttler at 6. I'd personally have preferred Root at 3 and Brook at 4, who else is in the squad regarding batting ?
Livingstone is in the squad too, but none of the batters are currently in form.
Mmm , suppose Livingstone could bat at 7 and bowl some overs. Would still have gone Root at 3 and Brook at 4.
