Just needed not to concede 26 off their last over and drop 4 catches(again). The fielding has been the only thing to let them down, or they'd have won this series. Same as the men really, if we'd have caught our catches we'd be 3 up already !

The ladies blew that imo. It was a tough chase, but they were going along nicely and then, Jones (I think), threw her wicket away and Eccleston failed to review an LBW that always looked as though it was drifting down. That umpire gave a couple of awful LBWs. It was missing by a mile.

Final ODI in the Women's Ashes today at Taunton. England batting and got of to a shaky start slipping to 12/2 but have recovered to 68/2 from 15 overs. England need to win to tie the series 8 points each which although the Aussies have retained The Ashes, would be a good performance from the English lasses who were 0-6 after the 5 day Test and first T20.
And would also mean they win the T20 and ODI series ! Would be some achievement against that side

Finished 285/9, decent score after the start they had...... not an easy target for the aussies...
England have played well and deserve to share the points in the Women's Ashes, albeit the Aussies get to keep them.
Anything England can do, Aussies can do better (or should that be worse?)
