Aussies’ day now, but it certainly doesn’t feel like England have been dominated. Thought we were going to accelerate away when Bairstow was warming up. 400 would be a great total now.
 
Maybe a cunning plan..... get 350 or so all out and get the aussies in for half hour and see if Jimmy and Broad can make some inroads.....
 
Are we being spoilt.... we're 333/7 from 66 overs.... its not that long ago that 300 from 90 overs was a great day's work.... this is actually laying down a marker to the aussies, you might take wickets but we're still going to pile up the runs.....
 
I think SCJ enjoying himself too much out there. Having a go at everything. Itching to get runs for a late crack at Aussies with the ball.

Mark Taylor has just said the same on the telly. Get close to 400 in the first innings of a match and you are more than in the game, regardless of wickets. First session of the Aussie innings will be fun.
