Any more evidence needed that David Warner is an odious creep?

Not really, but he is the gift that keeps on giving. After abandoning his attempt to get his ban from leadership positions overturned, on the grounds that he didn’t want the whole ball tampering episode to be exhumed in public again, his manager is now claiming that two senior executives told the team to tamper with the ball in order to get reverse swing. And poor little David, so weak willed and easily led, did just that, so it’s not his fault. It’s the concentration camp guard defence, ‘just following orders’.

We all know how it will end. An Aussie cricketer crying his eyes out in a press conference.

Couple more wickets please England.

With this wicket spinning this much we are now in a great position. Normal teams would try and bat for a day and a half and set Pakistan 300-320 to win the test, but you know we'll try and blitz 250 odd in 2 sessions and say chase that if you can lol

England 5 down after Pope runs himself out. England 234 ahead, but Pakistan will fancy their chances of getting 300 in the 4th innings.

Stokes must bat sensibly.

Looking good for England, but it's a crawl at only 3.8 an over.

If Pakistan couldn’t get 343 on a road in Rawalpindi I think 300 plus would be a real challenge on this track.

I think I’m beginning to understand Bazball. If you win the toss you force the other team to play Bazball as well, whether they want to or not. Except we are up for it so will do better. If you lose the toss, play Bazball anyway and you’ll probably force the opposition into doing the same.

So far it has worked almost perfectly, no matter who the opposition is. Stokes can bat however he wants if this continues. Though it’s more fun seeing him get a ton than an ultra rapid 30.

I hope the Aussies take up the challenge and turn up next summer ready to play Bazball as well. Could be an epic Ashes series.

When Stokes won the toss at one of last Summer's Tests, he said, 'We'll have a chase'.
