Glad Crawley is still there, the boy has talent & glad he’s knuckled down in this innings in which he had to rather than trying to smash every ball to boundary

Good for he and Foakes to hang around. Our tail is looking very long today. A hundred lead would be very interesting, more fantastic. Batting last on this looks like no fun.

Yeah, South Africa have picked a second spinner which is why they wanted to bat first. I reckon we'll need to get a lead of 150.
 
And now Maraharaj has Foakes given out LBW with a beauty, but it pitched outside leg and was missing off!

It certainly is going to be tough batting last.
 
A proper Test Match has broken out.........

A lead of 100 - 150 will be a huge advantage........ If Foakes and Stokes bat until tea then England should be in a very strong position........

These two are probably our best players of spin. Baffling why Nortje hasn't bowled since lunch.
 
Think we can put that down as England's day....... well down skip and Foakes, that partnership has taken the game away from SA, shame we couldn't pick up a couple of wickets before the close but cracking position to be in........
