Ball has gone soft and lower order making batting look a tad easier, a touch of de ja vu could see the WIndies get some sort of lead on 1st innings..... still 12 overs until new ball is due
Struggling to wrap up the tail as usual here, any leas or parity could prove vital. Overton just bowling hip high balls that Silva can safely paddle away for singles all the time. Good to see Wiakes finally hit a decent length and get some wickets, but will need to reproduce it big time in 2nd innings !

Following the same course as England's innings - ball goes soft and batting is easy. Need to wrap this up with the new ball.
What make of ball are they using in this series as it seems to go very soft from about 50 overs onward and plays like a tennis ball
Duke ball. Could see quite a few runs added here. New ball flying and tired bowlers. May be better for the umpires to call it off for bad light so the bowlers can have a rest till morning.
More utter **** with the new ball from Woakes and Overton. 50 partnership for the 9th wicket and we just keep bowling to De Silva's strengths , ****ing utterly clueless. Lead up to 24, we are throwing this away. In a low scoring game their lead is already handy and could get terminal for us.
