England's bowlers looking rather ineffective at the moment.
    Archer looks quick mind.

    Another terrible decision from Darr.
    Looked absolutely plum live.
Maybe he suspected an inside edge?
    Anyway.
    Another gone. Lovely jubbly.

We bowl poorly at Smith .
Obviously, it's mainly because of how good he is with a strange stance etc.
We're frightened of bowling straight as he clips everything there to leg.
Consequently, we bowl too wide of off stump and too short.
Make him play on that off stump.

    80-4 at lunch.

    Smith still there.

Not sure we'll see much more play today.

Probably going to be a draw. It's beginning to look like the ashes will be retained, at least :emoticon-0100-smile

I think it's fair to say that there's still a lot of cricket to be played, but Steve Smith is the difference between these two sides. The weather aside, this robot will give the ashes to the aussies alone. Without him the teams would be evenly matched. England don't know how to get him out.

Smith is an incredibly effective run-scoring machine, but he's absolutely horrible to watch. Plain ugly, and his bat-waving antics today were unworthy of a top player.

I know I know, but he has aspergers and is obsessed with batting. If he was English we would win but they've got him. I watched the masterclass with him during a session with Nassar Hussein and he's a completely humble bloke and if he wasn't a cricketer he would struggle in the real world. ( Probably ) Regardless, he's a world class cricketer. He's the one that England need to get out.

I think Root struggles at times as a captain.
We should always have a fielder behind square leg to Smith, saving the single.
First over there was no one there.
    This over, he's too fine.

    Broad MUST pitch it up!!!!!
