He's a typical example of people who are obviously slightly well educated and believe that their arguments are superior ...... ... when people laugh at their rants they lash out and make themselves look ridiculous. "A little knowledge is a dangerous thing' expresses the idea that a small amount of knowledge can mislead people into thinking that they are more expert than they really are." I didn't write that, probably some clever Greek fella ... ... strange that he wrote it in English, mind.
Have a look at the Uncle Bens thread in politics for a prime example. I've been amused by that thread.

One place I try to avoid. I've never really been massively interested in politics but things like the brexit debate and the pandemic and the rise of populist types had me fairly interested. Thought the politics forum would be somewhere for grown up discussions (since previously I'd always assumed politics was mainly followed and discussed by grown up, sensible and fairly boring people) and the chance to learn a bit. Went on and **** me, it seems to be full of rabid communists and swastika wielding fascists with seemingly very little in between. Every thread immediately becomes a slagging match between the two, with neither seeming to realise that they'll never convince the others. Equally everyone on there either knows everything there is to know about politics or thinks they do, I wouldn't dare to suggest I didn't fully understand some element of it, or put forth an opinion, because you get lectured to with people referencing all sorts of old speeches or policies and things. Then there's that annoying bellend bomber with his ****ing emojis. Felt like that Simpsons gif of the character walking in and walking straight back out, **** that
I don't know if it's deliberate but I always find a lot of humour in your posts despite you being interesting and making serious points ... ... I always aim for that but just attract endless stalkers and crazy cat blokes.
