Don't give any info away, you can't reveal your role outright but we don't want guys figuring out who you are anyway.

You're right, it makes sense for those two to hide as they can't do anything useful tonight, but if they're one of the inactive players then by the time they log on the jail was full anyway.

Don't stress about getting killed just because you're claiming to be town, just about every person will claim that at some stage, and the bad teams will kill any person not on their team so doesn't matter if people are town or a rival bad team.

The problem is, it's almost impossible for town folk to form a game plan. At least the two gangs know who their team is. I reckon at least 3 of the people in jail are town.

Logic would suggest that me, Obi & Chaos are town. It doesn't make sense for gang members to imprison themselves because they're missing an opportunity to strike without giving much away.

Trying to catch up in between work but bloody hard work.

Not it sure what to think of the people in jail... Could easily be a double bluff for the bad guys with roles.

So would 'logic' dictate I'm now town then fella?

But why did he choose to protect me?
Was he just being a clever fat ****?

I don't know, because those that want protecting need to choose someone and unless people are cheating it's done at random. I chose BRB and have no idea if he's town, gang one or gang two.

Obi could be being clever, as could captain chaos but IMO it would be silly for anyone in a gang to protect themselves on the first night when they could have a free for all killing spree and claim any "lynch" vote is a guess. The gangs know who's in their team, so any lynch vote kills a towny or a rival gang member, it's no lose for them which means to take that advantage away by choosing to go in jail is just silly.

Based on this, I'm assuming Obi and Chaos are part of the town with myself.

u will notice bod ive kept my comments to a minimum in this comp ;)

True, but like you say it doesn't make logical sense and taht's why it would be a good bluff to try act town.

Plus one of the lesser members like the investigator could stick himself in jail as he's not as critical to the whole plan, if they miss 1 investigation it's not the end of the world.

The ability of the bad guys to strategise via a QT board and know all their members is always the big advantage that the bad gusy ahve, versus the larger number of town folk who don't know who their friends and enemies are. In this case with two bad teams we just have to hope they wipe each other out and both don't end up killed predominantly townies.
