It's nearly at the point where you get lynched mate

Just wasted 10 minutes of my life that I'll never get back questioning CC to find out who was PMing him - only to find out it was ME explaining the ****ing rules to him!!
Somebody shoot him please!!!!!
Don't know the rules
Got no strategy
Barely even sure if I'm a goodie or baddie
This must be how @Red Hadron Collider feels most games

Easy done

OK so finally caught up, this is going to be a mind**** of note, good luck Neville!
At least the three jail slots are filled up now, very interesting to see how that went.
It keeps people safe but also stops them from performing actions, which is a big loss no matter what team you're on.
I can't see a town person with useful actions wanting to be stuck in jail all night (either guarding or under guard), and I also can't see bandits/SK/Burglar wanting to spend an evening with no actions. So plenty to ponder there.
The only downside is some of the suspicious looking characters got locked up so I guess we're flying blind as per usual day 1!
No real idea who to vote for so I'll bank an early one on Astro.
I know your above post was no doubt made in jest, but if you were throwing some half truths in there then you might be the Tavern whore or the Town Visitor, both of whom could fit with your comment about not knowing if you're good or bad.
We'll see how the voting goes later and what the strategy seems to be, I'm not leading any strategy at this stage as I have a rather poor history in this regard.![]()

Oh right. He's conveniently stuck in jail tonight after drawing so much attention to himself, so he can't be lynched tonight.![]()
Makes sense, and there are a few roles where it would be smart to not do anything tonight and stay safe, so there are various reasons so use the jail tonight. Should be interesting once we figure out a few roles in the days to come. The only problem with this thought process is it implies we all understand the rules
As you say, pretty much every player has a power and any power used or lynching is purely based on guesswork on the opening night. It's the main reason I've saved myself, so that I can get a better understanding of the game and after night one and a few deaths we'll have a better idea on how the numbers sit and be able to arrange a logical game plan based on this (hopefully).

EDIT: Keeping yourself safe to try figure out the game is fair enough. If some players used the jail to stay safe just for the sake of staying alive then that's bad if they have important actions that they are losing out on.
I can't see bandits doing it for that reason as they have a QT board to talk tactics. I hope some important town roles are not stuck in jail tonight just to stay alive an extra day.
Thanks for all the very helpful input![]()

Given the sherrif and deputy can't investigate until tomorrow then surely it makes sense for them to go in jail rather than risk death? I'm probably gonna kill myself here, not tonight because I'm in jail but tomorrow but happy to confirm I'm a member of the town. Not gonna confirm who I am other than to say I'm not the sheriff or his deputy.
Obviously the people that are quiet know what they are doing, however in most cases if you kill your instantly dead yourself

Are you trying to say that because I'm active I don't know what I'm doing???
Because if you're then I completely agree with you![]()
