Going toe to toe with an Army would be suicidal. Not sure what we are doing out there anyway. Everyone knows alot of the Taliban are out of the country waiting for us to leave before returning. We are peeing in the wind.

Correct. The tribes under the Northern Alliance are the fierce proud ones. It was they that kicked the Ruskies out of Afganistan, and they are enemies of the Taliban.
If the west had supported them with weaopns and artillery and perhaps air support before their commander Massoud was assassinated they would have routed the Taliban without any need to send in our troops.
It's very easy to be fierce when you're hiding in caves and killing people from miles away with IEDs.
The Taliban are just defending their country like elements of every country in the world would if it had been invaded by a foreign army. When they ran the country at least men had jobs and women didnt have to send their children out begging. The main problems in the country are unemployment, police corruption and kidnapping which the police are involved in. The people of the country want the soldiers and the corrupt government that America installed out so support for the Taliban is growing all the time, although their views that women should not be educatd or work are bad, the country would be alot safer for everyone and men would be able to work and earn money for their families.

Lets not forget, the Taliban did not attack the West, they were accused of harbouring Bin Laden but what isnt widely reported, is that fact that they offered to hand over Bin Laden if America could provide evidence that he was involved in the 9/11 attacks, America could not and the Taliban refused.

it annoys me when someone commits suicide and then someone says "oh they took the easy way out"..it takes cahunas the size of coconuts to pull the trigger on yourself, blow yourself up, throw yourself under a train etc no matter how "depressed" you are
