Okay, let's keep it simple for you;

  • Donald Trump received millions (google the figure, it's ****loads) from the NRA during his election campaign.
  • The NRA aggressively lobbies for unrestricted public access to any and all firearms, including assault rifles.
  • Kids with assault rifles keep shooting other kids
  • Trump's response is to suggest arming teachers.
  • The civilised world howls with derision, and points out that there was already an armed security guard at the scene of the latest massacre
  • Trump points the finger of blame at said security guard, saying if he had watched more Bruce Willis movies, he'd have saved everyone like Bruce does.
  • Mugs like you lap up Trump's bullshit
  • Attention is diverted from the NRA
  • Job done, cheque signed
  • Trump and NRA execs jet off to play golf at Mar E Lago

Pretty much spot on, unfortunately!..

Trump received .$30 mill from the NRA to fund his election campaign.

Coincidence that he’s pointing fingers in all directions except the right one?

Like **** it is!..

You're struggling, clearly, with my use of the word 'most' aren't you lad? Sorry, I can't help you there.

Enjoy your day though all the same <ok>

No, I think I understood your point clearly enough the first time.

Well done for getting a bite from such lame bait though <ok>

The question was, is Trump allowed to comment on the shooting or not. Your partisan bollocks is no answer even if it did succeed in drawing a few pats on the head from your fellow lightweights.

Good spelling though. <cheers>

The answer to your question is, Trump can say whatever he likes - he is and will always remain an utter ****.

I expect I'll work out how to enable the spellcheck function eventually. It'll be American though, doubtless.

Trump is on record at an NRA rally repeating the words about the CEO of the NRA 'I will not let you down, I will not let you down'

By finally having the balls to confront the real issue - that's kids with assault rifles btw, not security guards with pop guns.

Well that's a completely different debate entirely, I think most people from outside America can see how stupid their rules on guns are, but then again Obama did nothing about it either, and he was in a much stronger position than Trump to do something about it, as a lot of his core voters would have been anti guns. Obama didn't even have the balls to do it in his 2nd term, when there should be no concern of losing votes.

The majority of Trumps voters are probably all for guns, so if he was to take that stance, he'd be out of office at the earliest opportunity, and the new president would no doubt just reintroduce them.

The problem in America is that a lot of the general public want guns, they think they need them for protection. So it will be very tough for a president who is actually going to do something about them to gain support.

I dont know this guy featured.

But I did hear a suggestion about employing vet's to provide armed security to schools and universities.

Given the training they've had, the need for protection in these places, and just as importantly, giving some much needed respect to their own veterans, valuing their contribution to the country, seems on the face of it like a good idea.

US President Donald Trump has said he would have run in to the Florida high school where 17 people were shot dead this month even if he was not armed.

"I really believe I'd run in there even if I didn't have a weapon," Mr Trump told a group of state governors gathered at the White House.
