4) As social distancing rules are relaxed, public health officials are warning about a possible second wave of coronavirus cases later this year. Dr.Shoshana Ungerleider, an internal medicine physician at Sutter Health in San Francisco, said Monday on CBSN that public health officials agree another round of cases is "very, very likely to happen."

Coronavirus: World must prepare for second and third wave of Covid-19, WHO warns. Countries around the world must be prepared for a “second or third wave” of the coronavirus until a vaccine is available, the World Health Organisation (WHO) has warned. The genie is out of the bottle, so second and third waves are inevitable, and any vaccine will have it's own risks, a vaccine can make you 30% more vulnerable to Covid-19 as the US military found in troop vaccinations..............<ok>

Calling for a second wave would suggest that they are hoping for one. All they have done there is express their concerns that a second wave might happen.

Tbh I suspect that by this time next week given the antics of many last weekend, we'll be on our way to another wave by the end of next week sadly.
