Matt sad times pass on my condolences to your wife

Welsh Government's approach to dealing with Covid-19 is:
1. Let England introduce some easing of lock-down measures.
2. If it works ok, Wales does the same three weeks later.
3. If it is a disaster then Wales doesn't adopt the measures and can gloat about taking a cautious approach.
Not exactly leading from the front...

It’s the BBC ....... they spent a shed full of cash on investigating Cummins. ‘It’s a pity that they didn’t spend as much on investigating Jimmy Saville .....I’ll put this here.
I watched many videos last night on Twitter I’m sure @swantastic will have seen them as well. The supposed quiet protest in London about black lives matter. Well they all march onto Parliament and Whitehall where we then see it get ugly with the usual ****. The cenotaph vandalised, graffiti sprayed on buildings then they start in the police with fists flying etc etc. Now I was curious this afternoon to see what’s been reported on disturbances BBC online not one mention of it, at least Sky do have something on it. What’s the point in the BBC when they will only report on what they want to.
As I’ve posted before lives , matter just not everyone’sSo now children will return to school.
Teachers and school staff will have an anti virus test but my cleaning staff have been completely ignored.
Again!!
Unison have pledged to get this changed.
But,we wait and see.
Them and us.
Some are more equal than others ..... terrible! So now children will return to school.

Good news although it really shouldn't take a union intervention before those who deem themselves our "betters" actually listenAt last.Seems words and more in the right ears work
ALL SCHOOLS STAFF TO BE INCLUDED IN ANTIBODY TESTING STRATEGY FOLLOWING UNISON INTERVENTION
The Welsh Education Minister has clarified that all school staff will be prioritised for antibody testing as part of the strategy for schools opening more widely in June. This clarification was made following UNISON intervention after the Minister announced teachers would be prioritised, but failed to mention the wider school workforce.
Rosie Lewis, UNISON Wales schools lead, said:
¿Teaching assistants, school cooks, cleaners, administrators, and caretakers will all be relieved that they are being treated equally in relation to health and safety.
¿Safety at school and education relies on the whole schools workforce, and it is essential the antibody testing strategy reflects.
¿We are pleased the Minister listened to our concerns, took them on board and rectified the matter quickly.¿

We owe your wife a huge debt of gratitude - same with your hero of a DadWell some good news, Southampton General has no Covid patients in ICU, so that’s one less thing for the wife to worry about. Unfortunately they still have to wear the PPE though they have removed the need of the face shields. Let’s hope we’re seeing the end of this virus.
