As much as I detested the tolls now would have been a great time to have them, just to turn the sais about face
Spare a thought for Llanymynech Golf Club Can play resume on the course where Masters winner Ian Woosnam learned the game? It is located between Welshpool and Oswestry, straddling the Wales/England border. The fourth green is in England, as are the fifth and sixth holes - but the rest of the course is in Wales, where golf is still banned. Club officials are awaiting guidance.
I thought all golf courses had been dug up to grow vegetables , or is that vegetables playing it ,I'm not sure anymore
A highly skillful game. Lots of moving parts requiring a high level of co-ordination. Also a great mental battle if things are going well.
I used to be a member at Pennard. One of the best shots I ever hit was a driver into a howling gale on a par 3. Straight as an arrow, 3 feet from the pin.
Now our acclaimed Welsh government are going to allow golf to be played in Wales... Just a thought about the WAG trying to show their power to us and the rest of the UK.....the UK government gave us furloughs and all the other aids would our lot have been able to afford to do this if we had the independence that Drakeford and his cohorts crave?
