We don’t have a bottom of the league squad. Our better players are just not starting. It’s going to be too late for the management to realise it and we’ll be down.

I'm on the Balvenie 14 year old Carribean cask,looking to ease the pain.
Which players on the bench do you think would make a significant difference? Burstow’s done okay but was terrible last season at Sunderland so expecting him to dig us out of the hole we’re in is a huge ask. Ömür? What has he shown that he’s capable of changing a game?
Our ‘best’ players are currently either injured or starting. The only ones starting anywhere near this level are Hughes, Pandur and Palmer. Everyone else wouldn’t get in any other Championship starting XI.

He makes us look better and he is the one player whos confidence seems sky high still

Not sure how we can avoid relegation based on the players skill level, players mindset, another young manager trying to learn about this league almost halfway through the season. I found today to be so depressing - and the miracle of January will be what exactly? We are no longer sleep walking towards L1, we are on an inevitable slide into L1. Can anyone out there suggest anything that will get us up to 21st?
The blunt truth is this is a relegation squad and without a major clear out in January the team is only going in one direction. Every team gets injuries, you just have to get on with it. The summer recruitment fiasco has brought in last minute 3rd and 4th choice panic buys other clubs didn't want. Only one person is responsible for this mess and if he doesn't get it sorted by the end of January he needs to do the right thing and consider his position. I think there is time but talk is cheap, let's see a positive response soon. I've no problem with the new manager, Fergie at his peak couldn't have done any better with this lot. Taking into account staff turnover, how much has the owner put into the club?

He’s the one who threw all the ingredients into the pot and cooked a bubbling pile of ****. Selles has an impossible job to pick the ingredients out because they’ve all melted together into one giant steaming hot turd.
I’m guessing Omur has waved the white flag and told his agent to get him the **** out of here in January, can’t see how one of our only players with real genuine quality isn’t getting a sniff under a new manager.
Wouldn't disagree RG..Bringing in a numpty like TW was the catalyst that could have repercussions for a long time. Shades of bringing in Silva too late to save the season, ditto for Selles. Gutted at the prospect of the Codheads home and away next season, and the trip to Barnsley and maybe Donny.
