Bitter about what I know nothing of the player and have never heard of him until now , and the only quote from pearson says there was interest from big clubs not that he turned down chelsea , get a grip your looking like a child throwing a hissy fit , you need to take your head out of your Leicester cloud , what do you expect pearson to say "the lads first choice was obviously Chelsea but they didn't want him enough in the end so he wanted to come to Leicester " .Why get yourself so wound up over an article ? Is it that time of the month ?
Usually at Leicester we get to hear **** all about a transfer sags, but this one has had loads of coverage, a lot of which has come from source ie Rijeka. Chelsea made a bid, and were asked by Rijeka to match what we had already bid. They declined. The player was swayed to sign for mega rich Chelsea, but after talking to his dad was persuaded to decline Chelsea, cos they would not promise he would not be loaned out for a second season. Consequently, he decided that we were the better option for him and his development. Fettis - he declined Chelsea and signed for us - cos we are MASSIVE! All subject to work permit of course, which is not believed to be a problem.
Thanks for taking such an active interest in our transfer dealings. I guess not much is happening up in Hul
Chelsea didn't 'pull out' for work permit resasons - the main sticking point was that he did not want to become one of the 23 (or something close) that Chelsea have signed and have currently sent out on loan without any guarantee of being recalled and having a promise of first team football ... Chelsea did not want to commit to this - which is understandable from their perspective - they could bring in the likes of Cavani, Suarez etc if they had a mind to ... ... so instead the lad is backing himself and fair play to him ... he is in a win-win situation provided he impresses - if we go down but he has impressed there will be no shortage of suitors for his signature - if we stay upand he impresses then a Wilfried Bony type move could be on the cards (not that we are in the same position as the Swans - our ownership means we wouldn't need to sell - but we might want to with FFP constraints etc) ... I don't see the permit as an issue ... there will be precedents and having been dubbed "the next Davor Sukor" by Nico Kovac (current Croatia international manager and a forner top drawer player) the 'potential' element of an application by appeal looks robust ... Exciting player, exciting times to be a Leicester City fan ...
Bit worrying then? Second bottom of the league, spent all your dollar in the summer on "the best player in the Premier League", and some Uruguayan who was once meant to be really good on Football Manager...
We're not second bottom, just to point that out. We'll probably spend a bit, given our injuries, and we'll almost certainly use the loan spot freed by Ben Arfa.
Good response you seem one of the leicester fans able to put a response without throwing his toys out the pram , you could learn a lot from fosse Andy kings Crown Jewels !
I won't point out the obvious error , but not worried at the moment seen more than enough to suggest we could finish the season comfortably above at least three other sides , jury still out on hernandez looks great in patches not so great in others , being in and out of the team and a lot of travelling wont of helped mind .
Chelsea have over 30 players out on loan and Kramaric would have been just another one of them. Thats why he didn't join Chelsea look at taking young talents on and they loan them out and more then likely just sell them on for a massive profit like they did with Romelu Lakuku.
