I laugh cos of the insanity of it all.

Wages for all MPs went up by £2500.
I got a years back dated pay rise last month...a whole £180 <laugh>

And I'm lucky, cos I have a job that ain't minimum wage. We can afford our bills and mortgage and don't need food banks and ****.

I try to avoid the news tbh as I find it all bollocks.

I'm 55, I could be retiring on a full pension in 5 years and would have paid into my pension for 33 yrs. The last Labour Government ****ed that up by slaughtering public service pensions and the Tory LibDem government ****ed up my pay and this Tory Government and continued to do the same.

They can all go **** themselves.

So I laugh rather than rant cos it's better for my state of mind tbh.

I got a 'Thank you for helping keep the country moving' during the pandemic, and a 'No pay rise for railway staff, but have a tax raise and a kick in the bollocks from the electricity companies instead' after it.

Massive and chronic shortages in the food production and processing industry, due to the UK’s inability to employ EU workers and the Home Office’s woeful attempt to issue emergency visas

The crisis is very likely to put future food security at risk

Another win for Brexit

Claps don’t pay the bills ?

Oh and btw this lot are the worst I’ve ever seen too and I lived through the Thatcher Govt

A cabinet full of incompetent sycophants, only out there because they were Brexit yes men (and women)
I dont see incompetence, i see a gang of soggy biscuit eton ****s absolutely taking the ****ing piss and some like no others before them, it feels like an atttack to me.

This guy is something else.

These lot are the worst government in my lifetime, so ****ing bad that ive decided im voting this year, such is my anger toward this cartel that they have made me change a lifetime vow.

Registered yesterday for the locals.

I feel dirty and sick but ill feel more dirty and sick if i dont do what i can to get these ****ing evil ****s out.

You would need to look into it, but I think someone such as yourself would probably benefit from voting for someone like the Lib Dems or the Green Party, I think those two parties in the past have wanted to legalise weed, I'm not sure their current stance.

Whereas I think Starmer is against legalising weed, unless his stance has changed.

Although during the upcoming locals, I can see a big shift towards Labour, to send a message to the Tories, the only harm that could be done to that, is if people do shift to Lib Dems and take some of the Labour vote, because that could then indicate Starmer is also a public concern, and may need to be changed before the next General Election.

My thoughts, nowt more. <ok>

Apparently not. As it happens, the night Boris did his first public Covid announcement that kicked off Lockdown 1, I got talking to a Tory MP on his way home from Parliament to Potters Bar. Can't remember this name, seemed a decent sort of chap tbf. But one thing he said stayed with me - apart from the usual old "Chin up, we'll get through this" bollocks, followed by "The problems will come when it's over, and we have to decide who pays for it all". I though at the time, "You don't have to tell me pal - it'll be me, not you."

He doesn't want pot legalised ffs, that would destroy his business.

Rishi and his ilk are isolated from the problems of the working class. It doesn’t affect them.

Which is why I’ll never understand why anybody from a working class background would vote for a party that doesn’t ever have their interest at heart.

I'm all seriousness as much as i hate the tories,

Is rishi sunaks wife being a non dom really that bad of a crime?

I take it shes out the country for more than half of it(whatever qualifies as non dom), she doesnt hold a british passport, non doms pay uk tax on uk earnings and dont pay uk tax on earnings outside the uk (unless shes fiddling the uk money to a foreign company).

Its basically asking poor old milky to pay uk tax even though hes paying tax in the u.s. for anything he earns there isnt it?

Yep. It’s worse than incompetence. They are crap at the jobs they are supposed to be doing

but their MO is to feather their own nests and those of their rich pals in business for favours and donations in return.

like you say. It’s a cartel operating in broad daylight.

Technically not illegal, but for the wife of the UK chancellor, who’s just handed everybody a massive hike in tax, it doesn’t look good that him and his family just live the life of Riley, whilst everybody else struggles to pay the bills
