Technically not illegal, but for the wife of the UK chancellor, who’s just handed everybody a massive hike in tax, it doesn’t look good that him and his family just live the life of Riley, whilst everybody else struggles to pay the bills
Lets have it right, it sounds dodgy as **** and laced in loopholes.

But legal for peeps like him as they conjure most of these loopholes anyway.

I'm all seriousness as much as i hate the tories,

Is rishi sunaks wife being a non dom really that bad of a crime?

I take it shes out the country for more than half of it(whatever qualifies as non dom), she doesnt hold a british passport, non doms pay uk tax on uk earnings and dont pay uk tax on earnings outside the uk (unless shes fiddling the uk money to a foreign company).

Its basically asking poor old milky to pay uk tax even though hes paying tax in the u.s. for anything he earns there isnt it?

You can tell the war in the Ukraine has died down. <laugh>

Give it another couple of months, and people will be asking, 'Ukraine, where's that, never heard of it?'

You ought to sell it to @PINKIE he always sounds desperate, and if he can afford three grand bikes, you should get a good asking price.

Lol the bike got a mention quick today <laugh>

I’ll vote tactically again at the next GE. I’ll have a look at the local elections to see what the candidates are offering, but will probs lean towards Green as they will have more of an impact on environmental issues at a local level.

Needs a proper investigation to see whether she’s been stashing money away into her old man’s Businesses to avoid tax.

Let’s not forget that the whole tax system is riddled with loopholes that rich people pay lawyers and make them rich, to find ways for them to avoid paying tax

To the tune of £119bn each year

We’ve got a war thread for that

Its not a technicality about it. If i went abroad to earn money i dont want to be paying uk taxes.

However, i have decided to read a bit more into it and basically all she does is have loads of shares in companies so **** her non dom status and make her pay british taxes on all those dividends she earns considering she hasnt lifted a finger to earn them

If you have shares in another country, don't the country they are held in tax the dividends?
