The system itself could work, but it's corrupted to ****, that's the problem imo
Corbyn was a Czech spy though and Starmer spent that money of his own on a donkey sanctuary for his disabled mum so we can’t trust either of them to be honest.
He supported the IRA and blew kids up 'n all fo real. Oh and wouldn't give up his seat on the train once to an old dear.
Not voting guarantees you have no voice in what happens.
Personal choice and all that, but as a point of principle I don’t get it. The excuse that if everyone did it there’d be change is idealistic claptrap, as that’ll never happen.
That said, our electoral system is archaic and even for millions of those who do vote, their vote is virtually guaranteed to mean zilch, as if you’re voting in a constituency where the incumbent MP has a huge majority you’re almost certainly pissing in the wind if you’re voting for someone else. Also, any new parties can’t get representation in Parliament that represents their share of the vote, as their voters are likely to be scattered around.
It’s long overdue for change.

Corbyn would have shook this system to it's core. He was fully committed to bringing the rich tax dodging, favours for the elite, old boys club to its knees
But gullible folk bought the line that he was the most dangerous man in politics, in a world that had Boris, Putin, Trump, Bolsonaro, Kim Jong un and their cronies.
Tactical voting is the best option we have in this system. It actually worked in North Shropshire recently.
But PR is the best option to fix this voting system.
Is it though? I see plenty of flaws in this in other countries. Minority parties holding sway over the majority, and the system riddled with corruption and inaction as things either grind to a stalemate or people are waiting for quid pro quo sweetners to get things through.

Thing is mate, when we move into the real world of General Election, no one is going to vote the Liberals in. So we still end up with one of the same old two.
