Is it though? I see plenty of flaws in this in other countries. Minority parties holding sway over the majority, and the system riddled with corruption and inaction as things either grind to a stalemate or people are waiting for quid pro quo sweetners to get things through.

That probably need parliamentary reform then, but the fairest way to get representation for what people actually vote for is PR

Wish you ****ing had. Look at the trouble you’ve brought down on us all, voting for this clown car of a government ffs.

That was the right decision to get out of bed then though mate, the conniving lying bastard got me brexit - was the perfect man for the job. :cheesy:

Thing is mate, when we move into the real world of General Election, no one is going to vote the Liberals in. So we still end up with one of the same old two.

They won't form a Govt, but voting tactically for the party that is most able to unseat the current MP, is the most effective way to influence who can form a govt.

We need an Italian voting system.

It would need some form of minimum seats ruling. PR becomes counterproductive the more parties there are. E.g. if there were 3 parties in PR it would be more productive than having 10 for example.

I'm all for revolution

But what do you replace the current system with ?
A better one, maybe one where if elected you are held to account on your promises, like any other ****ing job, if you're **** at after two weeks then see ya.

Remove all conflicts of interests when having a seat, and if you do have sunmij on the side you go to ****ing jail for along time so the message gets through yo the next people hoping to be in politics thats it not a job for dishonest crooks and self seving hypocrites because if thats ehat you are you will be pulled up immediately and replaced with someone who better do better or they can **** off too.

For starters

Trust me, it won't work. It was a disaster the last time Liberals shared power.

Yeah too many cooks ...

Not a stretch to make a rule where you have a minimum no of seats to qualify for parliamentary repesentation

Don’t agree. If the Smoke weed in bed all day **** ‘em Party lead by Sucky McFlange gets enough national votes to earn a seat, then they should have one.
