They want to bring in mandatory covid passes though it includes negative test.

Puts them at a huge disadvantage compared to other hospitality venues.

What about football stadiums ? Surely they would be more risky than nightclubs

Any plans to introduce them in football ?

Boris throwing some proper cricket ball bouncers today, no stopping him once he gets in his stride.

That's ridiculous.

I agree with what you said earlier and I didn't think I'd get to that point. It needs everybody now to give a big **** YOU to all these new guidelines and making everything mandatory.

Pretty sure covid wouldn't have happened if Piskie hadn't moved to Cornwall tbf.

I know mate, and he travelled all around the UK looking for a new motor, from some guy called Arthur Daley. Then believe it or not, he bins it off because it cramped his style, them Cornwall folk are right ole straw hat fookers.

I believe so.

What does the pass consist of ? Proof of a vaccine or a negative test or both ?

Tbh, it doesn't seem like that much of a stretch for people to provide that as most probably already have.

Think there needs to be some exceptions for those with health problems who can't take the vaccine etc.

Outdoor venues over 10,000 so football stadiums etc

Show vaccine status (2 jabs) on NHS App or negative antigen test....starts in 7 days.

If that’s actually enforced (it won’t be) it’ll take them about four hours to get people through the Loftus Road turnstiles with our genius e-ticketing system.

I have to say, I don't have a problem with it. I know it's more Govt restrictions and there will be people who will kick off about it, but it's not that much of an imposition to show an app with your vaccine status on it. Most people have already had the jabs, and those who are medically exempt won't have to need a passport.

The people who kick off about this complain about their freedoms being restricted, and being free to have a choice. In my book, you'll lose your freedoms (along with everybody else) if covid rates go through the roof again because of huge transmission rates. And as for your right to choose, you have a choice, you either have a vaccine and prove you've had it, or you choose not to engage in those things that require you to have one.

I know not everybody will agree with this, but this is my take on it.

having the vaccine does not either stop you getting Covid or passing it on though it does lessen risk of catching it so the logic to some extent escapes me .
Well unless you accept that the passport is really just a method of trying to "coerce" people who don't want the vaccine to take it which has far more to do with hospital admissions rather than transmission rates .
