So Gates is perfectly correct to say what he did. If you also listened to the whole talk you would have heard that he felt that population was one area where it would be very difficult to make the significant difference required and the real key areas were energy efficiency, CO2 storage and zero CO2 energy supplies.

Its actually a very good talk but you have cut 2 minutes out of it to try and make it about Gates trying to lower global population using a COVID vaccine.

This is what thick ****s like Aber don't understand (or have been fooled with).
The world (Earth) has finite resources and as a species we have raped it for thousands of years. Nobody is advocating euthanasia but many are pointing out that with continued growth in population we (and the Earth) will soon run out of ability to accommodate us. 7 billion population and has jumped from 6 billion in a very short space of time due to medical advancements.

Slightly off subject (but given Abers ignorance i think acceptable), we try to "control" the population of certain animals/insects in certain areas because they throw the dynamics out of balance. We are no different yet think we have the right to do what we want.
