Don't think you quite understand why and how population growth occurs. Have you noticed how population growth is highest in underdeveloped and developing countries and drops as a country becomes developed? If you give people access to good medical care and vaccinate them against diseases there is less likelihood of dying either during childbirth, early childhood and late childhood-early adulthood so you don't need to have as many kids to allow for that risk.

So Gates is perfectly correct to say what he did. If you also listened to the whole talk you would have heard that he felt that population was one area where it would be very difficult to make the significant difference required and the real key areas were energy efficiency, CO2 storage and zero CO2 energy supplies.

Its actually a very good talk but you have cut 2minutes out of it to try and make it about Gates trying to lower global population using a COVID vaccine.

Well for someone who's slightly asthmatic, I'm not doing too badly, get a little breathless when I try to do much but feeling fairly normal whilst sitting.
I for one am glad I've been double jabbed, pretty certain it's helped.

Have you got the plague? I tested positive last week, symptoms have been very mild. Which may not have been the case of I hadn’t been jabbed.

Given my age, BMI, history of smoking, and the fact I worked with asbestos a lot in the 80s, I think I might have dodged a bullet.

We're breaking records this week for number of people in our hospital with COVID, in beds, on ventilators, etc. Pretty scary number of people getting very sick around here.

Worse than the January peak. I'm ready for my third shot, I'm told September... Given it's already been 9 months and shot loses effectiveness between 6 and 8 months I'm ready. (Tested negative last week but had mild symptoms, so may have been false negative... So may already have had it).

I'm told next year ours will be. If they're rolling it out to us this September, I don't think mine will be this year. I'll still have to get flu jab seperate.

I also don't think the jab I'm getting will have the specific Delta protection either.
