The point I made in quoting the first link to the article, is that it's no surprise that the total number isn't all death by Covid.

And that, ultimately, it would be very interesting to find out what the actual numbers of death by Covid are, once they are known.

For sure. All current figures are based on testing positive from Covid within a number of days up to dying.

unsure where all the people needing intensive care came from, it wasn’t seasonal flu I bet.

The correct figures are a matter of public record, the death certificates that form the basis of the stats you’ve literally quoted yourself.

If you want to flog the conspiracy theory, that figures were inflated to suit some National or global conspiracy, then you need to explain why every Dr who certified a death was convinced to lie, for what purpose and by whom, and then you need to find a way of explaining the excess death statistics.

Good luck with that one.

The stats for reported cause of death and / or contributing factor is on the ONS site so if you think they are wrong take it up with the doctors who completed the death certs .

Hopefully somebody will take this up..........lots of unhappy family members left in limbo by unsatisfactory death certificates.

Death 'involving' Covid, right? As per ONS.

And, of course, that great British media outlet that is the BBC, still tripping out the old death within 28 days of positive Covid test, when actual death of Covid numbers are supposedly common knowledge to all.
Weird.

Nothing to do with conspiracy by the way, more to do with wanting ultimately to find out how many people Covid actually killed.
Because I'm interested.

I believe the figures, I work with numbers at the end of the day, but I don’t read the media hyperbole which twists everything to their agenda, no matter what media outlet is saying. The thing is Abe, the numbers your media outlets report are just made up bollocks. Might as well read the daily sport.

Transparency is essential from the services WE PAY FOR......other outlets are not working for us so that information is not governed under legal requirement.

the reason for the 28 day figure is because it is a quick and easy way to track the infection however to see causes of death , both immediate and underlying , you need the death certs which are collated on the ONS site for our perusal.

PS most outlets including the Telegraph use the 28 day figure as it is the one that is released earliest by the Govt
I'm really not sure why i'm getting grief for saying where you can find the info you say you want ..
