I said that...... What a way to go........ Jimi hendrix purple haze sh, it........

I must confess I wasn't in the room at the time but the cage was full of smoke and a couple of hours later it fell off the perch...... Before you think of reporting my mate for cruelty be my guest cos he been dead for thirty fking years.

Has he gone to a better place?

I suppose a lot depends on how much confidence we have in the ‘one shot’ policy.
Technically, all of our most vulnerable won’t be fully protected until middle of May.

If you open the door to a budgie's cage, it's very unlikely to fly out. That'll be 3/4 of the population when the country, and the world, eventually opens up.

So you’re saying it’s going to be a sort of millennial Lord of the Flies? Sounds ideal.

Depends. I have a bit more faith in youth than William Golding appears to have done.

My faith in the wisdom old age supposedly confers is, on the other hand, practically non existent. ****it, let the yoof out. Let them have a go at running things.

I’m raiding Specsavers and starting fires if my recollection of the book is at all accurate.

Pubs may reopen in April with no alcohol being served according to the Telegraph <wah>

I saw this and thought, you either open up the pubs properly or you don't do it at all. It's like going to a football match but being told there will be no game on today, but you can watch the prematch entertainment, eat a pie and drink a coke.

Drinking is our culture, we've already been legislated against smoking in pubs, now they don't want us to drink alcohol in them either. I get that some income is better than none, but do I really want to pay £3 or whatever it is for a coke, nope.

There is enough shhite about 'government control' you either trust your population or you don't, if you don't then keep them closed until they do.

Don't think it'll happen. They won't make enough money without serving alcohol and bringing staff back from furlough. Be takeaway pints I reckon.

I'm 30 at the end of April so really hope they're open by then.
