oh i dunno i've had Doctors who have had about the same delicacy of touch as you and Nurses with less of caring nature .
A lot of doctors have a bit of a God complex. They certainly aren’t infallible, though a lot of them act like they are. In part, they are encouraged by everyone around them, to think they are floating around above the heads of the rest of us.
Having said all that, I’d far rather have a doctor, even a knackered one who’s just done a 12 hour shift, looking after me if I’m lying in a hospital bed struggling to breathe, than some bloke who’s read something on the Internet about Covid
Sorry mate we’ve run out of those. Here’s Matt Le Tiss with a berocca for you.
I know it seems funny, but aside from that situation, vitamin d deficiency can have quite serious implications to your health and is something that is often over looked.
Now if that gentleman is old and frail, stays indoors alot (care homes etc), then there could be a possibility of a Vit D deficiency. I'm not saying that would be responsible for covid, but it would affect his overall well-being and strength to fight off the virus.
I did wonder if it was this deficiency that was to blame for the increased risk to BAME. Don't forget also we have been restricting vulnerable people to staying home (ie indoors).
It's also not just a case of taking the vitamin to correct it for immediate recovery, it can take several months to get back to normal levels. Fatigue, tiredness and weakness are normally good indicators.
Worth noting this point is covered off by the NHS, under Coronavirus update;

Coronavirus update
It's important to take vitamin D as you may have been indoors more than usual this year.
You should take 10 micrograms (400 IU) of vitamin D a day between October and early March to keep your bones and muscles healthy.
There have been some reports about vitamin D reducing the risk of coronavirus (COVID-19). But there is currently not enough evidence to support taking vitamin D to prevent or treat coronavirus.
I highlight this, because it's about your overall well-being that is important, to aid in fighting off any illness.
mon and tuesday figures are always lower as the figures are really from the weekend and some don't get recorded to later .I don't know what to make of it all anymore.
Somehow the figures don't all make sense.
Yesterday 2nd lowest of the year, today 2nd highest since it all began.
I don't think anyone knows the true figures.
The differences are massive, i'm finding any of it hard to believe now, except one thing, ways to many are dying. But how many from covid, **** knows, the figures are all over the place.mon and tuesday figures are always lower as the figures are really from the weekend and some don't get recorded to later .
this has been the case throughout .
and much worse scenarios... the figures are obviously all over the ****ing place.Where the figures are skewed is if someone tests positive and two weeks later dies of a heart attack the death is recorded as Covid related
tiny amounts and anyway the 2 figures to look for areWhere the figures are skewed is if someone tests positive and two weeks later dies of a heart attack the death is recorded as Covid related
Hit by a bus, but had covid 2 weeks ago.. **** it, covid killed them.tiny amounts and anyway the 2 figures to look for are
a) the ONS report on death certificates which show the doctors recording of cause of death plus major contributing factors i.e. Pneumonia secondary cause Cystic fibrosis
b ) excess deaths as this will also show , and even more so in future , the deaths which occurred due to the restrictions in place rather than Covid itself .
oh give over who the **** would be checking to see if they had tested positive when they had been squashed on Sunderland Road .Hit by a bus, but had covid 2 weeks ago.. **** it, covid killed them.
