I would happily have this tomorrow. What’s happened to speed it up is that as it is for a global need the red tape/pricing per region etc have been agreed all at once. The U.K. is struck on licence for new drugs/treatments. The US has paid for 100m people to get this I believe. So either we are stupid or just first in line.

I reckon I'll have been offered it by spring but I'm happy to wait it out for a year or two.

I believe to make this safe, it needs mass immunisation. But that’s a topic for a different time. At the moment it’s not going to be mandatory.
Not sure i can see that happening, but who knows....There's some decent therapeutics out there and more
on the way which shouldn't be ignored with the hope that the vaccines are miracles.

therapeutics are all good and well, but if your mass immunisation works then at the point therapeutics are needed the numbers are much lower, life can go on and lockdowns removed as the re infection rate is so low.

but it’s a personal choice, so I can see this return to normal, being much longer than people hope for.

@Libby @Archers Road is it time we start a campaign to wipe him out if the soton history books yet? :bandit:

Keeping him around will be like supporting hitler

Mate, I don’t do Twatter or Facebollocks, so I have no idea what idiocy MLT or any other ****er spouts on there. And I don’t care. They say you should never meet your heroes, but I met LeTiss in Waitrose near my mum’s house once, and he seemed alright.

Anyway, this...

He is a shameless, disingenuous, characterless slimy shallow piece of **** who exemplifies every stereotype you can think of for a (Tory) career politician.

Remember The New Statesman? Hancock reminds me of this bloke, but is actually way way way worse..
