I'm not knocking the vaccine, I'm disputing the figures, Chaos claims it will protect 90%....yeah, but 90% of the people vaccined, not 90% of the population.

I agree, it wont save 90%, but it is a massive improvement on where we currently are. I have not been anywhere since 17th March....I need this hope. I feel like a newcastle fan and this is my PIF takeover....Get the ****ing cans in!

They have ordered 30M vaccines, if it is a two part vaccination then they will be 60m injections (30m * 2=60m) Unless I am totally misunderstanding whats reported then i will happily bow down and have my belly tickled.

Either way, I will be getting one, top of the clinically vulnerable list!

I've no idea what's being reported that's why I'm asking. Like you say IF it is a two part vaccination, so i'll ask again, is there anything that confirms this anywhere....other than your brain of course.

30m was reported on BBC and SKY, because it takes two doesn't mean that there will only be 15m or 20m depending on whats ordered. Are HEPC ordered as a two part.....I only ever had one HEPc vaccine, but two weeks apart if I remember correctly

If I am understanding it right, you need two doses of this vaccine. We had ordered 30m but it therefore would treat 15m people. Leaving 55m untreated. Also of that 15m that do have the vaccine it will be ineffective on 10% of them.

we've provisional orders for 100's millions of various vaccines which were in development the numbers will change if one is shown to work .
i can't say i'm getting too excited over this vaccine yet as it still very early days .

Was wondering about this. All the headlines I’ve seen have suggested it will be front line health care staff and care home residents getting first dibs.
My mam has been advised to shield again so assuming she is classed as extremely vulnerable.
Have you been told you would be near the top of the list?

err it will only be by end of the year if they get emergency licencing presumably from FDA .
