It may have the reverse affect with people who may have been considering Spain to bin it off for this year. My company are now saying if you go to a country which requires quarantine when you get back, it’s unpaid leave.

It’ll put some off for sure, others just won’t give a ****, and won’t tell their employers where they’ve been.

It won’t stop those who don’t give a **** in the same way as it hasn’t stopped them up to now. Maybe I’m naive, but I still think of these people as the minority and for most, common sense will prevail.

You might be right, but my point was they’re not policing any of it, so it’s pretty meaningless, as it’s basically left to personal choice. It shouldn’t be like that.

I love the whole Ireland thing. Supposed to be quarantined if you enter from England, but go through Northern Ireland and you don't need to. So obviously best to go via NI.

But the funny thing is, you can get a ferry across, tell them that you're travelling up to Belfast, literally drive up, go round a roundabout and head back into Eire and you're exempt <laugh>

Yes. The UAE had had around a total of 250 deaths, had one of the strongest lockdowns on the planet. Is now taking visitors again who don’t have to quarantine. whilst anyone coming here has to. e.g. my son.

****ing barmy.
same as thailand...the list is bonkers.

The whole thing is tbf. How exactly are we not at the stage we were at pre-lockdown? It's measures in name only.

The mask thing is too little too late as per usual.
Let’s be right, the mask in shops thing, whilst it’s mirroring the latest WHO advice, the U.K. Govts prime driver is to increase confidence levels to get us out spending again.

Johnson literally told us all near the start of this crisis that face masks in public weren’t necessary or particularly effective. As at that point there was huge PPE shortages and they didn’t want Joe Public buying up what they needed for the NHS. But having told that lie, it’s hardly a shocker that people are now saying, why now?

I can’t believe that video hasn’t been shared all over the shop btw, by the COVID deniers.

It's just working..

went to b and m first thing this morning, armed with a mask. Looked inside, seem some folks wearing them, so put it on..

once inside, i guess 2/3 of people were wearing them, but not one single member of staff, except the security bloke..

it's a farce.

Some excellent points made by this bloke.

Also, looking at the comments, it's clear that the British public is waking up to the fact that the lockdown should never have happened.

The points he makes about those dying of cancer is something that I heard a medical doctor say, months back. He predicts that the numbers of more people who will die of cancer and heart disease alone will outstrip those who have died of coronavirus by more than double, due simply to the mad obsession with this one virus.

Yep, thought you'd still be dragging your feet in the sand.

One day, you are going to be forced to open your eyes to the grim reality of this entire scam, and I will accept your apology.
