Agree it's economics. I also reckon it's lip service, a show, put on to to demonstrate things aren't technically back to normal but all the while making sure everything beneath the veneer is in effect back to normal.

We are absolutely no different to where we were before lockdown without the justification of countries who actually deserve to be.

They hung off lockdown for 7-10 critical days when the R number was extremely high, which has cost an estimated 20,000+ unnecessary deaths. They were openly talking about herd immunity until the Oxford Uni modelling landed, which showed we’d be looking at up to 500,000 deaths if they did **** all and didn’t lockdown. We’ve had circa 65,000 even with it.

The 60% drop in cancer diagnosis will have a cost, without doubt, but compared to doing nothing in terms of COVID the numbers simply aren’t comparable.

We are being told that the vaccine has certain side effects by the same people saying the vaccines are untested and not safe for human use.

As was proved during the initial lockdown, policing any control measure was pretty much impossible and even in the most totalitarian countries of the world, people continually find ways to flout the rules.
I still think most will do the right thing and this is why there was a huge public outcry when Cummings broke the rules. It was a shame that wasn’t dealt with in the correct manner as it dilutes messages such as this latest development.
 
Just changed my return ferry from Santander to Caen instead.

I very much doubt we'd have been 'caught' if we'd not quarantined coning back from that destination but changed it anyway.

There will be a 'spike' in France now!
 
Question, I've seen it said many times on TV, that you cannot catch Coronavirus from letters and parcels. Both items will either be covered in paper, cardboard or sometimes a plastic bag of some description. Remembering that all these letters and parcels would have been passed by human hand. So why is it, retailers and events, insist on cashless payments, what's the difference?

Also, it would mean that the disease is truly plague like and as bad as the Black Death (which it clearly isn’t), and we should all be wearing these life saving masks all of the time to protect everyone, including our own families.

Anyone who genuinely believes that these pathetic masks do anything is either completely stupid or such a sheep that they will believe and do anything they are told by authorities. In either case, they are a danger to the freedom of this world.

The overwhelming majority of whom were extremely vulnerable with underlying issues.

Plus, it is a fact that these numbers are highly skewed and massaged, with whistle blowers within the medical profession admitting that they were encouraged to attribute as many deaths as possible to covid.

Plus, angry relatives have come out and angrily denied that their loved died from covid as opposed to something else. These stories get suppressed in the propagandist mainstream media, of course, so that idiots like you continue to be brainwashed that we should all continue to live in fear.

You believe that the increased numbers of people now suffering in agony with cancer and other illness, including heart disease is worth the cost of something so clearly fanciful that it beggars belief any sane person could believe it?
