Some people are exploited, others make a living out of being exploited. There is a huge difference.

I absolutely agree. I've no sympathy for the US justice system though as they are the worst country around for not letting other countries bring justice to their members for their wrongs. They are massively hypocritical - that is though a separate issue i grant you.

People can go abroad to countries where the age is lower and legally get married and we will recognise the marriage in the UK but if they are below the age of consent they aren't allowed to have sex even though they are married. Of course, no-one is going to actually check. Pregnancy is the usual way people get prosecuted as the evidence is pretty clear.

Nope, she was 15 when married (in Leigh registry office i believe). I think we have the same or similar rule to America where parents consent is accepted.
The Yanks minimum age is 12 and is used frequently but mostly around the bible belt, it can be used in most states though i believe.

I didn’t mate. I just don’t agree. Plenty of sex workers wouldn’t consider themselves to be the victims of exploitation, far from it. However, teenage girls coerced into it by middle aged men, and shared around, not so much. If only there was a phrase that covered that particular kind of shizzle...

You actually destroyed your argument by quoting two different scenarios
