It’s the decent thing to do plus it’s logical. If they’re good tenants they’ll look after the property and we can go back to normal once this is over. Plus, what would be the point of being a ****? If they can’t pay then they can’t pay, simples, and it’s not like new tenants will be lining up to move in! This situation sucks for the vast majority of us (hedge fund managers will be loving it), we’re all going to have to make compromises and show compassion.

As I said to you last night, as Comm also reminded you last night, I avoided insult, but it seems its a level you stoop to, not only do you stoop to it, you quote us in with sex offenders. Mate, all I want is for them to be comfortable. Hopefully we'll all come through this and we can celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary in the same Greek restaurant where we celebrated their 50th and their 40th. But if not, it's cool knowing they will be cared for in their own home, and not left to die in a hospital corridor.
I don't think either of them are that scared of dying. My mum is terrified of my dad dying, and he's promised not to go before her (**** knows how he's planning to guarantee that but he's a pretty determined chap).
Anyway it's all immaterial as no one is going anywhere until me and the old feller have witnessed Shane Long bagging a hat trick.
I feel sorry for garden centres and nurseries, not only can they now not operate in the case of garden centres or will struggle to operate in the case of nurseries they’ll also lose a huge amount of stock and won’t be able to recover that investment.
Hopefully there’s some government help for them to stay afloat as we all love plants!
