Dunno, I don't get the clapping thing. They are doing a great job but in their position I wouldn't want the fuss I would just consider it my job.do people clap tonight?

Yeah I get it now.especially the ones watching hundreds of people suffocating every day
especially the ones watching hundreds of people suffocating every day
The London ones then?
So, London is clapping tonight, right?
look up the word especially
im hoping for an opportunity to clap and not sure if its planned
Yes, I know what it means.
So, they're the ones who need a good clap right?
Doubt there's a nurse or doctor who has witnessed hundreds suffocating in one day in Newcastle mate.
Yet.
all of the nhs and key workers deserve it.. read back if you're confused
Forget it.
I do wonder how NHS workers really feel about the clapping thing. Some might feel a sense of pride or something, but most are down to earth and hard working people who know what this is, useless pointless and transient faux appreciation expression.
I think most would like proper protective equipment first .some where drawn to tears and very appreciative.
a payrise would be great too
