How many suicides will occur in the following years after this. How many stress related heart attacks, strains on families, failing health, deaths on waiting lists.. the misery from the fallout is going to be ****ing enormous
The human cost of these measures may well kill twice or three times what the virus kills (without factoring in the suffering of MILLIONS to come) because of the under then over reaction, incompetence and corruption of the WHO and China's ****ing sneaky devious lying.

It's a touch difficult not to have certain politics stuff, when the government are pretty much controlling how this thing goes down, may as well stop any chat on stuff like NHS shortages, any talk of problems with work, restrictions on what we can and can't do... as it's all related to politics

You're not interested in what the POTUS has to say during a global pandemic?
Why shouldn't his comments be posted on here, via Twitter or a media outlet? It's a thread about the Coronavirus, he gives a daily press briefing about it and his country now has more cases of it than any other country in the world (partly because he initially said it was a hoax and then said it would just disappear once temperatures got warmer in spring).
It's not like Twitter links to him bigging up his press conference ratings are being posted on the Wid Ye thread or the WTF Are You Having For Dinner thread?
I have a friend who's wife caught Legionaire's Disease. They went on holiday to France, camping site.
