Looks like lots of unemployed people are going for the fruit picking jobs... including a circus!

We will learn from this that the response and panic were utterly incorrect and the damage will last decades

How many suicides will occur in the following years after this. How many stress related heart attacks, strains on families, failing health, deaths on waiting lists.. the misery from the fallout is going to be ****ing enormous

The human cost of these measures may well kill twice or three times what the virus kills (without factoring in the suffering of MILLIONS to come) because of the under then over reaction, incompetence and corruption of the WHO and China's ****ing sneaky devious lying.

So what was the alternative?

Easy calling it out as being wrong due to the fiscal impact and the knock on from that, but what should they have done then?

And Twitter is ****ing bollocks mate, that's what.

This is just now turning into politics thread No.2. with all the 'facts' posted via social media.
Actual video footage of a speech is fact, and you don’t like Twitter, I couldn’t give a flying **** tbh.

So how is everyone doing? I'm still not finding the whole routine an issue other than the lazy kids getting in my nerves.
Won't lift a finger, they just do what they want and expect everything done for them.

Yeah it's a grind for sure, I just try and focus on the positives. If I have a raging hard on and horny as **** during the day I don't have to look at the office dog to suppress the urges, Mrs Hoops has been very frisky too :)

I'm not interested.

His comments get posted on here via Twitter.
You're not interested in what the POTUS has to say during a global pandemic?

Why shouldn't his comments be posted on here, via Twitter or a media outlet? It's a thread about the Coronavirus, he gives a daily press briefing about it and his country now has more cases of it than any other country in the world (partly because he initially said it was a hoax and then said it would just disappear once temperatures got warmer in spring).

It's not like Twitter links to him bigging up his press conference ratings are being posted on the Wid Ye thread or the WTF Are You Having For Dinner thread?

Cruise ships have aircon systems pumping the air all round the vessels don’t they? Aircon systems have been breeding grounds for other diseases in the past - remember Legionaire’s Disease? - so that would make perfect sense.

As for Boris, maybe he and Prince Charles are lovers?

I have a friend who's wife caught Legionaire's Disease. They went on holiday to France, camping site. It's believed that when she turned the shower on, it had not been used for a while, so she picked it up from the spray mist, where it had been lurking in the shower head. Again as you say like aircon breeding grounds. You can pretty much guarantee in most offices, if someone catches a virus, the whole office will eventually go down with it.
