I have a friend who's wife caught Legionaire's Disease. They went on holiday to France, camping site. It's believed that when she turned the shower on, it had not been used for a while, so she picked it up from the spray mist, where it had been lurking in the shower head. Again as you say like aircon breeding grounds. You can pretty much guarantee in most offices, if someone catches a virus, the whole office will eventually go down with it.

Yeah, I’ve always felt people who work outdoors in all weathers get far less coughs and colds than people who work in offices.

It’s probably just a matter of time until most office work is done from home, but tbph I wouldn’t fancy that much either.

You're not interested in what the POTUS has to say during a global pandemic?

Why shouldn't his comments be posted on here, via Twitter or a media outlet? It's a thread about the Coronavirus, he gives a daily press briefing about it and his country now has more cases of it than any other country in the world (partly because he initially said it was a hoax and then said it would just disappear once temperatures got warmer in spring).

It's not like Twitter links to him bigging up his press conference ratings are being posted on the Wid Ye thread or the WTF Are You Having For Dinner thread?

I guess you're missing the point in that all the Twitter posts is turning this into Politics revision 2, and I thought we were avoiding that.

Crack on though, do whatever.

If I want to see Trump I'll do it watching television, preferably live so it's unedited. I don't need to click on all the Twitter bollocks here.

Sorry to have offended you all.

I think I would tend to slightly agree with the theory of that article, that some of the transmissions may well be airbourne, and I think there are plenty of examples if we look close enough. Cruise ships would be one prime example of this. I find it hard to believe that everyone collects it individually via not observing the 2 metre rule, I would tend to lean towards, if you are in an enclosed space, where the air becomes more stagnant, then you are at risk of catching the virus. You really don't need any greater evidence other than that article though. Let's take Boris as another example and the confined space of Number 10, unless Boris was french kissing his cabinet, which I accept could be highly likely, again I blame the enclosed air space they were in. Jeez, imagine that, breathing the same air as Gove....

To be fair Boris has been shaking hands with everyone and continues to still do.

someone posted a video of the plank and he was like people can still shake hands. Also remember to wash your hands... before you shake hands lol

Photo please.

I am thinking of going and buying one of those barber's razors as I am getting pissed off with my hair. I normally just get a number 3 all over - it can't be that difficult to do.

You haven't offended everyone. The politics thread was a mess and another one should be avoided. There's bound to be some political talk but it needs to stay under control.

Eddie Mair has nailed the UK press briefing.

You must log in or register to see media

I could've posted this directly from the LBC website, would it make it more\less interesting?

Twitter is a method of sharing thoughts and information,
If you don't like information because of it's source rather than whether the source is accurate then you are deliberately closing your eyes for no reason.

It's because of its source.

Twitter is a festering boil of misinformation and abuse, any actual good stuff gets lost amongst it.

I won't click on it, it's not an issue.

This is, however, just now politics 2

<ok>

*for some of you*

I was told yesterday that I would have to use the clippers on one of the dogs soon. Like ****!
