I doubt China will ever come clean about the numbers
Wuhan has restarted the markets and lifted all travel restrictions
If there is a second virus it will probably be worse than the first
China is lying g through it's back teeth to avoid the economic impact .
Theres no way the recorded amount of deaths there is anywhere near the real amount .

The 13 year old boy that died in London today passed away with no close family members present due to the contagious nature of the virus ... how ****ing unbelievably sad is that?

Donald Trump has just conceded that America needs to brace itself for a minimum 200,000 deaths based on latest modelling ... just like the regular flu? ... even Donny has smelt the coffee and he's thick as pig ****..

You are missing the point ... this crisis has certainly exposed years and years of chronic underfunding ... but that doesn't render it any less cataclysmic in the here and now ... and many of us were already aware of the underfunding ... but are not smugly glorifying in self righteous affirmation as death numbers rise...

<applause>

like I said... on form today <ok>

Good friend of mine is a senior bod in the airline industry. I asked him today whether we were likely to get away for our mid July holiday. He said very unlikely. Everything normal seems so far away.

I've written off our trip to Poland next January as it stands.

Prior to the discovery of antibiotics the vast majority of pandemics were bacterial. In fact I don't there's been one for at least 100+ years.

The increasing resistance to these antibiotics as a result of their over-use could well mean the next pandemic waiting to happen is bacterial.

Loads of stories like this coming out now from various clubs. For the PR opportunity alone surely it’s not worth saving a few quid this way.

You must log in or register to see media

Was it Juve where all the players have taken a 33% paycut meaning the club will save something like €80m over the next 4 months or something?

Should that not be the first port of call for clubs before cutting costs elsewhere.

The reality of what’s about to unfold is just kicking in. Even the orange “it’s a hoax” moron admitted yesterday that over 200k Americans could die from this virus and that the UK’s initial plan of herd immunity was insane. The stock markets will tank again (already started this morning) as the realisation that the economy is ****ed kicks in.

No, it won’t.

Do you understand how natural immunity works?
