How's it going @PISKIE ?

I'm all good mate thanks. Been busy down here, we've got our support network set up and running now. I've got around 30 houses I'm looking after and have been doing food drops for folk and trying to organise volunteers for their patches. Seen some wonderful acts of kindness from the community. Lots of holiday home owners are offering out their homes to Health workers who need to isolate from their families. Local shops and pubs have set up home delivery services to get hot meals out to the most vulnerable.

How about you mate ? Hope you and the family are all coping okay ?

Daughter has had to temporarily close her business due to COVID, so she’s gone back into nursing to help out.
One of her colleagues - who has no underlying conditions - has gone into intensive care due to coronavirus today. She’s spooked to say the least.

my sister is a care worker, just spent 2 weeks in isolation, due to her guardianship of her grandson..

Now she has to go back work...But if someone in the home comes down with it, she has to spend 2 weeks in there..

So how the **** is that gonna work, who's gonna take care of the bairn?

Funny that. Given that ‘someone’ within No.10 has apparently being pushing the idea that lock down should be curtailed sooner rather than later, as a decent percentage of those dying would have likely died within a couple of years anyway.

Eugenics ahoy.

Probably being driven by the “tango man” across the pond. Most commentators claim (backed up by current polls) that the state of the economy will dictate his success in the presidential elections, so he is desperate to calm the markets by trying to underplay the confirmed numbers, by reportedly restricting testing kits, and is trying to convince the world that he will have it under control to enable a Easter “re-opening” <doh>
