Evidence that those infected are contagious for up to eight days after symptoms disappear.

https://medicalxpress.com/news/2020-03-covid-patients-coronavirus-symptoms.html

"The time from infection to onset of symptoms (incubation period) was five days among all but one patient. The average duration of symptoms was eight days, while the length of time patients remained contagious after the end of their symptoms ranged from one to eight days. Two patients had diabetes and one had tuberculosis, neither of which affected the timing of the course of COVID-19 infection."

Isolating for 7 days might not be enough.

And that’s with strains that have been “contained” and for which there is a measure of resistance among the public.

The curve, over the year is fairly flat, showing that there is resistance among the public.

With the Covid-19 strain, we are going to see something more akin to a bell-shaped curve, which means that there is going to be a rapid rise in deaths, as the community builds up resistance, but the curve will eventually flatten out, and it will do this naturally. That’s because it’s a new strain of flu.

The point I am making with the intention of calming those of you of a nervous disposition, is that Covid-19 is doing exactly what every other flu strain does, except that we are seeing an accelerated unfolding of its presence in the general population, due to it being a new strain.

Most people have already have the virus, and those that haven’t had it, will eventually get it, either this year or next. As with the countless thousands that have had it, those that have yet to get it will survive, and not be even complain overly at the symptoms suffered.

Those numbers will include Boris and the ageing Prince Charles.

Some, a tiny number in comparison to the majority, unfortunately, will die. As it is with the flu, the common cold, and even the British weather.
How the **** can you possibly assert that ‘most people have already had the virus’?

If most people have already had the virus ( :headbang:) why are we only just starting to see an escalation in deaths ?
Are you saying that the virus has only attacked the people with the strongest immune systems and thought I will wait til later and start on a mass killing spree or are you just being stupid ?

I think it's true that a hell of a lot of people have had it already, many without realising, but the 68% figure is the top end of their estimates and this is likely to have reduced due to social distancing. It almost certainly won't have reached figures of 80% yet though unless all of the models are wrong and the peak is not still a couple of weeks away.

It's not a new strain of flu. So you're either comically thick or your life has become so empty since you were doxxed that you'll stoop incredibly low just to get a bit of online attention. Either way, you're making yourself look like a complete ****.

They were delivered this morning from a fruit and veg wholesaler ... and way fooking cheaper than from a supermarket <ok>

That looks good, are you a regular customer of theirs, I'm just wondering how you managed to get a delivery.
