Some, a tiny number in comparison to the majority, unfortunately, will die. As it is with the flu, the common cold, and even the British weather.

If most people have already had the virus ( ) why are we only just starting to see an escalation in deaths ?
Are you saying that the virus has only attacked the people with the strongest immune systems and thought I will wait til later and start on a mass killing spree or are you just being stupid ?

I think it's true that a hell of a lot of people have had it already, many without realising, but the 68% figure is the top end of their estimates and this is likely to have reduced due to social distancing. It almost certainly won't have reached figures of 80% yet though unless all of the models are wrong and the peak is not still a couple of weeks away.
