Me neither <laugh>

But I've made a worse choice by switching to LBC. I really need to avoid having all things Covid 19 in my ear hole every waking hour of the day.

If I'm driving home during one of the press conferences I'll listen.

Bit of decent and new music is the way to go though.

I'll give it a go.

The problem I find with most music radio is the repetition of the same ****e over and over again. When you're driving home that can become mind-numbing.

I'll try 6 Music if it's different <ok>

Very much so. Not commercial either so none of of the guff.

Needs to be digital though, assuming you have dab radio in the car.

If you want something different try this

Some proper random mix of music and no adverts. It's French too so you get a sexy voice introducing songs normally.

Daughter is working at Costco,
Queues have been out of the car park since before 8am.

Looks like it's going to be mayhem.

Even though I'm due to run out of stuff I'm going to wait a week or so because I hope once the supply chain sorts itself out, the shelves will be stocked and everyone will have calmed the fck down by then!

Finished work at 4 yesterday and went to Asda expecting it to be rammed but it was quieter than a normal friday evening. Decent choice of food too other than an empty meat section. Drove past Lidl too and the car park was pretty much empty.

Most people finished stockpiling?

Virgin Radio (whatever variation) always find an excuse to ruin the mood by playing something by that whiney, nasally, Manc twat, Beatles tribute band .... or their latest configuration(s) ... <doh>

Every morning I drive past the ALDI and there are queues out the car-park and down the road.

On the way home. Nothing.

There must be something about them being re-stocked overnight? I really haven't given enough of a **** to find out tbh. It's just mental.

I’m avoiding weekends if at all possible. Weekday mornings seem relatively ok if you can get out at that time.

It's clear that much of the British public are stupid. They were advised not to go to restaurants and bars but ignored that advice so they had to be shut down.

The point here is that capitalism is far better at creating crises than it is at resolving them.

The world will not be faced with a binary choice between unregulated capitalism, and all embracing state sponsored socialism, btw. We can have a balance, a mixed economy, a free but properly regulated market, governments that - as they are doing now - accept that they have a responsibility to protect and support their citizens.

If you’d kept reading you’d have seen I said practically the same thing myself a few comments later <laugh>
