Remember what she said, you need your fooking lungs!

My baccy has just gone in the bin via the cold water tap!

I kept saying this will be my last pack. I've been saying that for nearly 3 weeks now. Two weeks ago I bet she looked a lot ****ing healthier than I do now!

The inevitable public inquiry once this absolute **** show has finally passed is going to be interesting.

The U.K. basically decided that it knew best and it would take a totally different path to all of the other countries who’d had to tackle this pandemic. English exceptionalism at its most horrendously idiotic. Not 2 weeks ago we were being told to ‘take it on the chin’, ‘let it wash through the community’ etc etc etc.

I think everyone has bar one or two countries have handled it badly. The EU even accepts its own response was not good enough. It's been so slow and uncertain all over the place, the fear of economic damage has stayed many hands early on.. and probably still some currently, the flim flam bollocks you mention is probably why many are not taking it seriously. I think the herd immunity bollocks convinced many that there was not much to worry about <doh>

Finland went from "nothing to see here" to "lets hope we can manage the serious case numbers" in a 14 day period
Only 4000 tested here so far, so this risk could well blow up in their and our faces, its definitely not a strategy being employed here, it's hoping for blind luck

I think there is a natural inbuilt element in this with youngsters. They are fit and see no reason why they should fall ill and even then, they think they will be fit enought to fight it, I get it, i really do, so it is naturally difficult to explain to them what being on a ventilator actually means.

Without the correct level of oxygen in your blood, you as a human being cannot function. Prime example is when people ask, why some people can stand up and walk, yet they have a wheelchair......the reason for that is they have to live off oxygen supplied in tanks, so they can be mobile, it's nothing to do with their legs, however, it can be very limiting in movement when those oxygen levels drop. So people can have tanks at home, even mobile tanks to take out in a car.

Hence this virus isn't something that is just going to affect elderly people's lungs. This is not any old cold or flu, this is going to proper fook you up.
