well to be precise more games means more games not necessarily success - they call it the Champions League new format which is based on the breakaway ESL format

If its true its pretty horrific. I guess its chinas way with dealing with terrorism (there were some big stabbings in 2013/2014 which lead to all this) even though its a minority.

I am ambivalous to it. Again this one i definitely do not believe. I know organ harvesting was quite big back in the day (well scare rumours but in the 2000s when china was more lawless my mum would be scared for me to go the a neighboring chinese city) but by criminal gangs.

Again i dont really know the truth about them or have inside information.

I read from a group once that they are a cult in terms of just taking money but if people want to practice being spiritual etc be my guest. I think what they are saying is a bit extreme in terms of prosecution but i do know there have been detentions of people in hk for publicising "bad gossip books," about the leaders of China but they were killed off and harvested.

To be honest i would say 90% of the population (maybe less now as its a richer country) want to just get on with their lives and earn money and live.

No one really cares about politics or free speech except the newer generation's.

Interestingly i was chatting to some of the older generation who china (70s) and these folk had **** like rations on oil and meat and went hungry all the time and same from my parents who were subsidence farmers in hk. They dont care for politics as long as peoples lives get better.

There are also lots from hk and china who hate the government. They have a for the many not the few and will for example take down villages given compensation which may or may not be adequate to build infrastructure if its for the what they think is good of the country (whether rightly or wrongly). Back in the day during some of the worse of the cultural revolutions, i heard first hand from a friends dad (we were on a cruise) how essentially the militant students of the regime came and killed all his middle class family (educated people and rich were taken down) and he got away by jumping into the sea and swimming to hk. It was really sad to hear and there must be plenty of these stories where if not losing family members, they lost a that they had and essentially had to escape which would brew up hatred.
