My Dad has now been moved onto a ventilator. He might not even see out the next 24 hours. I told him he was last man standing for me and he needs to fight this all the way. I've lost too many these last few years. Might as well go and lob myself in front of a train and be done with it.
Sounds grim, mate. Fingers crossed for him. You’ve always got the dog and your bro though. And Sucky of course.
Don't be daft Saf. Just as your dad is the last man standing for you; you will be that to your family and possibly friends too. Pretty sure your old man would want you to stay strong for your closest.

I still struggle with my sons death and Mind have helped me through some **** off bad times mate.
I know we ain't mates together on here but I think a lot of posters care about you.

Can only echo what others have said Saff, don't be too proud to ask for help if you need it, and you know that my pm inbox is always open for you mate.
Can't imagine how you're feeling now, and hopefully he will pull through. But if the worst happens just try to remember that what he's been for you you need to be for your daughter.

We've had 2 deaths last week, from work mate family members. One was from a husband and daughter who both work at our place. It's ****, as i get on well with both. Death is hard, i usually blank it out, maybe that's a cowards way.
My mum and dad popped in to see me earlier, both never took their masks of (this is the first time), both looking rough, i think this whole thing is taking a massive toll on many, not just those you get sick.

She also spent weeks and weeks proclaiming COVID was over during the summer & peddling the line that everyone should just crack on & get back into offices etc, which of course was the mantra of those who’s tune shills like her were all playing at the time. She’s dead easy to get a bite from on Twitter btw lol.
